In 1997, the State Department declared Hamas as a foreign terrorist organization. This is the first time after 28 years that there is a director conversation between the US and Hamas.

Actually, the first phase of ceasefire between Hamas-Israel ended on March 1. In the first phase, Hamas left 33 hostage, including 8 bodies. At the same time, Israel is releasing Palestinian prisoners from 2 thousand. But the conversation between the two on the second phase of the ceasefire has not started yet.

Gaza’s militant organization Hamas has returned the bodies of 4 Israeli hostages on the morning of 27 February. He handed over the body to the Red Cross. In return, Israel is releasing more than 600 Palestinian prisoners, out of which 97 have been released.

The bodies whose bodies have been returned are named Tsachi Idan (49), Shlomo Mantjur (85), Itjak Elgarat (68), and Ohd Yahlomi (49). The first phase of the ceasefire, which came into effect from January 19 between Israel-Hamas, was the last release of the hostages.

The first phase of the ceasefire ends on 1 March. In the first phase, Hamas has left 33 hostage, including 8 bodies. At the same time, Israel is releasing Palestinian prisoners from 2 thousand. The conversation between Israel and Hamas has not yet begun on the second phase of the ceasefire.

On 20 February, Hamas handed over the bodies of Israeli hostages to the Red Cross by placing it in a black coffin.

Israel buried the bodies of Ariel Bibas, Kefir Bibas and his mother Shiri Bibas, returned from Hamas last week. At the time when Kefir and Ariel were taken hostage, they were 9 months and 4 years old respectively. Kefir was the youngest hostage in Hamas’s captivity.

This deal of exchange of prisoners between Israel and Palestine will be completed in three phases. In this, hostage will be swapped for 42 days.

First phase

Second phase

It was said that on the 16th day of the first phase, i.e. by February 3, everything goes well, then the negotiation on the second phase plan will begin. The attack will not be done during this time. The remaining hostages will be released alive. However, the conversation has not started yet.

Third phase

Gaza will be resettled in the last phase of this deal. It will take 3 to 5 years. The bodies of hostage killed in Hamas’s possession will also be handed over to Israel.
