Bumrah gave the first success of the day

The start of the second day’s play was excellent for India. Like the first day, Jasprit Bumrah brought great success to India on the second day too. Just 3 overs after the start of the second day, Jasprit Bumrah made Marnus Labuschagne his victim. Bumrah showed Labuschagne the way to the pavilion for just 2 runs. Bumrah dismissed Labuschagne on the second ball of the 7th over. This ball of Bumrah was a good length ball which went outside the off stump. He was beaten in an attempt to tease the ball and the umpire rejected the appeal of being caught behind but Bumrah decided to take a review. After this, the TV umpire saw that the ball was near the bat and then Snicko made some noise and thus Labuschagne had to go to the pavilion. With this wicket, Bumrah created a new history in Indian cricket.

Bumrah came out in front

In fact, with the dismissal of Marnus Labuschagne, Jasprit Bumrah took the 32nd wicket in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In this way he became the Indian bowler with the highest wicket taker in a Test series in Australia. He destroyed the 53 year old great record of Bishan Singh Bedi.
