Sunrisers Hyderabad
The team of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has suffered a major setback between IPL 2025. SRH star spinner Adam Jumpa has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the tournament due to injury. For SRH, Jampa was able to play only 2 matches this season. SRH inaugurated his campaign in the tournament on 23 March against Rajasthan Royals. In this match, SRH included Jampa in the playing XI. Against Rajasthan, Jampa took 1 wicket for 48 runs in 4 overs. He was also given a chance against Lucknow in the next match. In this match too, Jampa could take only one wicket. After the first 2 matches, Jampa could not make his place in the playing XI due to injury and now he has been reported to be out of the tournament.
Replacement of Jampa announced
SRH bought Adam Jampa for Rs 2 crore 40 lakh in the mega auction of IPL 2025, but he could not work for the team this season. He had to be out after playing 2 matches. Sunrisers Hyderabad has also announced the representation of Adam Jampa. The team has signed Smrit Ravichandran in place of injured Jampa. Samman Ravichandran has played 7 First Class Match, 10 List A Match and 6 T20. Ravichandran has scored more than 1100 runs in domestic cricket. SRH has bought the left -handed batsman for Karnataka for Rs 30 lakh.
Ayush Mhatre’s entry in CSK in place of Gaikwad
Apart from Adam Jampa, the replacement of Chennai Super Kings i.e. CSK captain has also been announced. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have chosen Ayush Mhatre in their team in place of injured Ruturaj Gaikwad. Mhatre has played 9 first class matches and 7 List A matches and scored a total of 962 runs. CSK has bought the right -handed batsman representing Mumbai in domestic cricket for Rs 30 lakh. Mhatre is just 17 years old. Now it will be interesting to see how the young batsman performs when he gets a chance in the IPL.
