Richard Gear, a Hollywood actor and a supporter of Tibetan rights, visited the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) at Dharamshala in Kangra. He inspected the Tibet Museum operated under the Department of Information and International Relations of CTA.

The museum depicts Tibet’s rich culture, history and post -occupation struggle of China. Important documents, pictures and educational materials related to Tibetan heritage and human rights movement are displayed here.
Tibetan leaders welcomed
The gear, considered a close friend of the Dalai Lama, has been voicing for Tibetan rights for a long time. He has made an international identity with his commitment to Tibetan freedom. Tibetan leaders and CTA officials welcomed his visit.
