From 2024 to 16 thousand Indian laborers reached Israel
According to the Times of Israel, about 16 thousand Indian workers have reached Israel since last year. A labor agreement was signed between Israel and India in May 2023. Under this agreement, 42,000 Indian laborers were to be employed in Israel.

According to India’s Foreign Ministry, workers in Israel work like iron binding, floor-tiles settings, plastering and carpenter. They get 5 times more salary than India.
The Israeli government agency Population and Immigration Authority released a salary structure for workers from India. According to this, they will be given a salary of Rs 1.37 lakh every month. The same workers from India will be sent to Israel, who have a diploma in mechanical or construction trade.
Why lack of workers in Israel …
After the Israeli-Hamas war began on 7 October, Israel dismissed the work permit of the Palestinians working there. At that time about 80 thousand Palestinian labor used to work in the construction industry of Israel. After he left, there was a shortage of labor in Israel.
Its direct impact started the danger of Israel’s GDP. According to a report by the British media ‘The Guardian’, the Israeli Finance Ministry feared that Israel’s GDP may fall by 3% due to the construction of the construction industry.
