11.2 crore people are expected to travel on the flights of IndiGo, the country’s largest airline company, this year i.e. in 2024. Before this, last year in 2023, more than 10 crore people had traveled by Indigo. Indigo chief Peter Elbers has said this. He said that IndiGo is on its way to becoming a leading company in the global aviation sector. IndiGo CEO told the plan for 2025
India is one of the fastest growing civil aviation markets in the world and IndiGo, which has 63.6 percent share in the domestic market, is also expanding its international network. On the prospects for the year 2025, IndiGo Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Albers said that the smaller size A321 XLR aircraft will arrive next year. These aircraft can fly long distances and will help the airline launch long-haul direct international flights.
