Indian -origin American leader Johran Mamdani has gone ahead in the race to become a mayor candidate from the Democrat Party. The 33 -year -old Mamdani took an edge by defeating former Governor Andrew Kuomo in the Democratic Primary election for the post of Mayor of New York Town on Tuesday night.
The final result of the primary election will come in July after the final count of Rackdated. However, Johran is almost certain to become a mayor candidate from the Democratic Party. His victory in the general election for the post of Mayor in November is almost considered to be almost certain.
