Indian -origin American leader Johran Mamdani has gone ahead in the race to become a mayor candidate from the Democrat Party. The 33 -year -old Mamdani took an edge by defeating former Governor Andrew Kuomo in the Democratic Primary election for the post of Mayor of New York Town on Tuesday night.
