External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal addressed journalists on Friday.
India has completely rejected the reports of Washington Post about attacking Pakistan and toppling the government in Maldives. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that both this newspaper and its reporters have a hostile attitude against India.
Jaiswal said-
You can see a pattern in their activity. I leave it to you to believe them or not. As far as we are concerned, we believe that he has no credibility.
American newspaper Washington Post has recently published two reports against India. A report is related to Pakistan in which it has been claimed that India has killed about half a dozen terrorists in Pakistan since 2021.
In the second report, it has been claimed that India’s intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) wanted to stage a coup in Maldives by removing Muizzu from the post of President.
Reminded of Hillary Clinton’s 14 year old statement
Randhir Jaiswal warned Pakistan and reminded the statement of former US Secretary of State. Jaiswal said that Clinton had said about Pakistan that you cannot keep a snake in the backyard thinking that it will bite only your neighbors. Sometimes those snakes will attack the person in whose backyard they are.
In fact, in 2011, Hillary Clinton addressed a press conference in Islamabad with the then Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbari Khan. Clinton then told Pakistan that they should eliminate safe havens for extremists in the interest of the people of their country.
The video is 14 years old. Hillary Clinton visited Pakistan in 2011.
Washington Post claims- India is committing murders by entering Pakistan
A report was published in the Washington Post on December 31. This report says that India has started an ‘Assassination Program’ to kill the country’s enemies abroad. Under this, RAW has also been successful in killing terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Muhammad in Pakistan.
It has been said in the report that in the murders that India has carried out in Pakistan, the help of Afghan people or small criminals has been taken. No Indian citizen was ever involved in this.
It has been said in the report that RAW’s action is similar to Israel’s Mossad. The report also said that during the election rally, Indian Prime Minister Modi had praised this campaign without taking its name and claimed to kill the enemies of India by entering their houses.
The report also said that after the killings in Pakistan, it was celebrated on pro-government channels in India. RAW was being praised in these programs. Pakistani officials were very angry with this. A Pakistani official told The Washington Post that there were some killings about which Indian channels came to know before the Pakistani police.
Washington Post’s second claim – India wanted to topple Muizzu government The Washington Post claimed in a report on December 30 that it had some documents named Democratic Renewal Initiative. There is a plan to remove Muizzu from power. According to the report, a plan was made to bribe 40 MPs to remove Muizzu from power. Among them are MPs from Muizzu’s party.
According to the report, apart from the MPs, a plan was also made to give money to 10 senior officers of the army and police and some criminal gangs. According to the report, the conspirators had demanded Rs 51 crore for this. The Washington Post quoted two Maldivian officials as saying that this amount was to be demanded from India.
