Pakistani OTT content, movies and songs will be banned in India.
India-pakistan conflict: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April, India is continuously taking tough measures against Pakistan. India first ended the Indus agreement and then canceled the Pakistani visa. After this, India took the biggest step in the POK and several terrorist bases in Pok and Paksitan on the night of 7 May. Now another big step has been taken against Pakistan from India. The government has now taken a strict decision to ban OTT content, movies and songs related to Pakistan.
Let us tell you that advisory has been issued to OTT platform and media platforms by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. In this advisory on behalf of the Ministry, these platforms have been instructed to stop showing all kinds of content related to Pakistan. The Pakistan content banned in India includes both audio and video content.
Ministry issued advisory
The advisory issued by the ministry states that keeping in mind the national security, all media streaming platforms, OTT platforms and middlemen are advised to stop songs, films, web series, podcasts and other streaming media content which are present in Pakistan, or any other way. The Ministry has also mentioned the Pahalgam attack in its advisory.
If you have also taken any kind of Pakistani program or subscription plan of OTT content, then you will not be able to access it. No one will be able to consume content related to Pakistan. This major decision of India is going to give Pakistan a strong shock.
