Her decision on the bail plea of actress Ranya Rao
On the other hand, on Thursday, a court here reserved its verdict on the bail plea of Kannada actress Ranya Rao. The Economic Offenses Court will give its verdict on Friday after the DRI arguments. The DRI has sought Ranya Rao’s custody for further investigation. During the court proceedings, the DRI stressed the need for a thorough investigation due to possible national security implications and sought a three -day custody of Rao. The agency insisted that their interrogation could detect a relationship with a large smuggling syndicate, which requires multi -level inquiry.
The actress’s legal team opposed the DRI, saying that such custody is unnecessary. However, the prosecution replied, saying that objections should not be considered in such sensitive cases.
