However, Rachin hit a bang century while returning to New Zealand’s second match. The young batsman scored 112 runs against Bangladesh. Although Dhakad Kiwi batsman did not bat in the group stage against India, but once again scored a brilliant century in the semi -finals. Due to this century, New Zealand team managed to reach the final by defeating South Africa.

However, despite this innings, Rachin managed to score the most runs in the tournament. Rachin scored an average of 65.75 in 4 matches and 263 runs at a strike rate of 106.48. He was the only batsman to score 2 centuries in the Champions Trophy 2025. Rachin was awarded the Player of the Tournament Award for this great performance. Rachin Ravindra became the fourth youngest player to win the Player of the Tournament Award in the Champions Trophy. He achieved this major achievement at the age of 25 years 112 days. Along with this, he beat Chris Gayle, Shikhar Dhawan and Ricky Ponting.
