Budget Session 2025: The government on Thursday called an important meeting of leaders of all political parties before the budget session of Parliament. The budget session will begin with the President’s address in the joint meeting of both houses on Friday, 31 January. After that the Economic Survey will be presented. After which the budget will be presented on 1 February. Parliament will not be proceeded due to the assembly elections to be held in Delhi on 5 February. The first phase of the session will end on 13 February and the second phase will begin on 10 March. The budget session will end on 4 April.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh chaired the meeting

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh presided over the all -party meeting today to inform political parties about the legislative agenda of the government and to get information on the issues raised by them during the session. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said after the meeting was over that 52 leaders of 36 parties had participated in it. The floor leader of all parties told what they want in the session.

Central government will bring 16 bills in budget session
