Now advisory has been issued by the airlines, which states that passengers have been advised to reach the airport before three hours.
Airport arrived three hours ago due to security reasons
The Air India Airline wrote on the Social Media Platform X that in view of the order of the Civil Aviation Security Bureau to increase security measures at the airports, all the passengers of India are advised to reach the airport at least three before their departure for check-in and boarding. The check-in is closed 75 minutes before departure.
Valid identity card will have to be brought to the airport
Akasa Air posted on the social media platform X and wrote that due to an increase in security measures at all airports in India, we request you to reach the airport at least 3 hours before departure, so that a spontaneous check-in and boarding experience can be ensured.
There should be a valid identity card by the government for admission at the airport, on which you have a photo. In addition to the check-in baggage, you will be allowed a handbag weighing only up to 7 kg. According to the guidelines, all passengers will have to undergo double safety check.
Indigo Airlines released guidelines
IndiGo Air Line has tweeted that strict security measures have been taken at all airports. We request you to give some extra time for your journey for security checks and formalities. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
