Karun Nair said that honestly, I was confident because I had played IPL first. I knew how to play. There was nothing new to me. Preparation was complete in my mind. Just waiting for the opportunity. There was talk of playing some balls again. I was telling myself to give myself time, play mango shot and then play fast after that. Everything happened like that, but if the team won, it would have been more happy.
Despite not getting a chance in the last four matches, Karun Nair was sure that he would get a chance and he was mentally prepared for this. Faf (du Plessy) was not playing. We knew who would play his place if a player is out. Mentally I was ready. My confidence has increased and I know that I am fully prepared to play.
