Thanks to his brilliant performance, Northamptonshire’s team managed to win continuously against Derbyshire and Leesterushair. With this, Chahal concluded the season with 19 wickets at an average of 21 in only four first class matches.
Chahal waiting for a return to Team India
The 34 -year -old Chahal may have been successful in winning the T20 World Cup title with Team India last year, but he has not played any international match since August 2023. He played his last international match on 13 August 2023 against the West Indies in Loderhill. More than 2 years have passed since he played ODI matches for Team India. He played his last ODI International match against New Zealand in Indore in January 2023.
