Ranveer Allahabadia
The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of hearing on all cases related to the controversial statement of YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia. The half -up says that the matter will be according to the hearing process. Cases have been registered against Ranveer Allahabadia in different cities of the country. All these cases can be heard at the same time. In such a situation, Ranveer will have to visit different courts to attend the hearing. For this reason, he has appealed to the Supreme Court and said that all the cases should be united and the same court should hear it.
Refusing the hearing soon, the Supreme Court asked Ranveer’s lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud that he would not consider the demand for early early. Justice Sanjeev Khanna asked Allahabadia’s lawyer to contact the first registry. Former CJI’s son Advocate Abhinav Chandrachud demanded an immediate hearing on the plea of Ranveer Allahabadia from the Supreme Court. Chandrachud said that the Guwahati police has started questioning. The case of prohibiting FIR should be heard immediately. CJI Sanjeev Khanna said that the matter will be heard as per the process.
Case filed in many states
The lawyer of Ranbir Allahabadia said that several FIRs have been lodged against Ranveer in many states and the Guwahati police has called for questioning today. CJI Sanjeev Khanna told Ranveer’s lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud that the case would be listed for hearing soon. Lawsuits have been filed against Ranveer in different states, while his controversial statement came on a show, which was shot in Mumbai and released on YouTube.
Women’s Commission summoned
The National Commission for Women (NCW), expressing strong displeasure over the objectionable remarks made in the comedy show ‘India’s Got Latent’, ordered Ranveer Allahabadia and others to appear on 17 February. The Commission has taken seriously the obscene and objectionable comments made by content creators like Allahabadia, time Raina, Apoorva Makhija, Jaspreet Singh and Ashish Chanchalani. NCW has also sent notice to the producers of the show Tushar Pujari and Saurabh Bothra.
What is the matter?
Allahabadia, over 1.6 crore followers on social media forums, had raised controversy by commenting on parents and sexual relations. Allahabadia later released a video and apologized, but the issue is not taking the name of being calm. Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske also raised this issue in Parliament and demanded a law to regulate social media.
