Yeida Residential Plot: Noida Airport has a golden opportunity to buy a residential plot. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) on Monday announced a new residential plot scheme for people wishing to build a house near Noida International Airport. Under this scheme, Yeida has offered 276 residential plots, whose size is 200 square meters. These plots are located in Sector-18 near the airport. Development work is going on here. The plot of this scheme will be done through allotment lottery draw.

How long can you apply?

This is the first time Yeida has launched a residential scheme after raising the plot prices from Rs 24,000 to Rs 35,000 per square meter. Applications for the scheme can be made till 21 May 2025, while the lucky draw will be on 11 July 2025.

You have to give so much security amount for Yeida’s plot

To apply, people interested in general category will have to give a security amount of Rs 7 lakh, while for SC/ST category, this amount has been kept at Rs 3.5 lakh.

What is the specialty of plots

The special thing about these plots is that it is not only the airport, but also with big projects like Film City, Medical Device Park, due to which their location is considered prime. Yeida is not limited to residential plots only. This week, Authority Group is going to launch schemes for housing, commercial, industrial and hotel schemes as well.

How to get residential plot

These schemes will allot the group housing, industrial and commercial plots through e-auction, while interview-based process will be adopted for large industrial plots (more than 8,000 square meters). For large plots, companies will be given marks on parameters such as FDI, Financial Strength, Experience and Employment Ability and the highest score company will get a plot. At the same time, small industrial plots will get the plot for the highest bidding for less than 8,000 square meters.

First testing after rate hike

In March 2025, Yeida increased rates from 35% to 60%. Now through these schemes, the authority wants to see how people accept this rate hike. According to Yeida CEO Arun Veer Singh, we have launched the scheme of residential plots in Sector 18, and more schemes are coming this week. Residential plots will be given from lucky draw, while the rest of the schemes will be allotted from e-auction.
