A major train accident occurred in Russia late Saturday. She derailed as a bridge collapsed over a passenger train in Bricank area. At least 7 people died and 30 people were injured in this accident. These include 2 children.
According to Russia officials, the accident occurred due to illegal interference in the transport system. However, it is not clear who was behind this intervention and what was its way.
The Moscow Railway Department said that the fall of the bridge led to debris on the tracks of the train, which derailed the train. This bridge was built above the tracks of the train.
The photographs released by government agencies can be seen that the train bogies are badly broken and lying between the broken concrete pieces of the bridge. In a video on social media, some vehicles were seen stopping a few seconds before going on the bridge, which averted a big accident.
