Bihar government: The Bihar government is going to bring a new scheme for women. Working women will be given home on rent near their office. The Bihar government has taken an important step towards women empowerment and security. A new scheme has been approved in the state cabinet meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, under which women personnel of the state will be given home facility near their office.
Who will be the beneficiary of the scheme?
The benefit of this scheme will be available to women teachers, women policemen, all women employees working in the panchayat to the secretariat. That is, any woman who is working in a government department and has trouble due to distance in the office of office every day, this scheme can prove to be a boon.
How to get housing?
The state government will form a five -member committee in every district for this, which will be chaired by the District Officer (DM). This committee will identify private houses and a lease agreement will be done with the landlords as per the requirement. These houses will be chosen in such a way that they should be close to the workplace of women personnel. If a female employee has any problem with the housing, it will be solved by the subdivision level SDO.
How many women will benefit?
According to government data, about 3.5 to 4 lakh women employees in the state are working in government departments. This scheme has been prepared keeping all these women in mind, so that they can get safe and convenient accommodation.
Other big decisions of the cabinet
The state cabinet has not only approved the women’s housing scheme, but also many other important proposals. In over 8000 panchayats, 8093 lower class clerks and 8414 new jobs have been approved. A mega skill center will be set up in the state at a cost of Rs 281 crore to train 21600 youth. 36 new posts have been approved for the establishment of Sports Injury Unit at Jayaprakash Narayan utterance Hospital in Patna, as well as 267 other posts have been created for the hospital.
