Carrot, Radish and Cabbage Pickle Recipe
First step- To make pickle, take good quality carrots, radish and cabbage. So that the pickle does not spoil quickly. Now put all these things in water and wash them thoroughly. Now remove the stalk from the cabbage and break only the florets into medium sized pieces.
Second step- Now peel the carrots and radish lightly and cut them into round or long shapes. Heat water in a large pan. When the water boils, add cabbage, chopped carrots and radish and cover it. Cook for just 5 minutes and turn off the gas. After 5 minutes, take out all three vegetables from water.
Third step- Now let them dry thoroughly. If you want, spread them on some cloth and spread newspaper below. This will remove all the water. You can also keep it in the sun for a while. When the water dries well, prepare the pickle masala.
Fourth step- Mixed pickle masala is also available in the market. Now take a glass jar and add carrot, radish and cabbage in it. Add pickle masala in it. Heat it from above and add mustard oil. Mustard oil should be mixed only when it cools down slightly. Add salt as per your choice in the pickle.
Fifth step- Now keep it in the sun for 1-2 days. Delicious carrot, radish and cabbage pickle is ready. Keep stirring the pickle occasionally. Due to this, it does not get spoiled and the masala easily sticks everywhere. If you want, you can also add some chopped green chillies, garlic and ginger pieces to this pickle.
