Delhi: Delhi government has declared winter holidays in schools from January 1 to January 15, 2025. Apart from this, schools will remain closed on the occasion of Christmas on 25th December. This long holiday break will give students a chance to relax at the beginning of the new year.
Uttar Pradesh: Winter holiday is expected in UP from 25 December 2024 to 5 January 2025. However, official confirmation is still pending from the state education department.
Punjab: The Punjab government has announced winter holidays in schools from December 24 to December 31, 2024. If necessary, the government can extend the holiday period in view of the cold conditions.
Haryana: There will be winter holiday in schools in Haryana from January 1 to January 15, 2025. This will give students a chance to rest in the first month of the year.
Jammu and Kashmir: Winter holidays in Jammu and Kashmir have been decided differently on the basis of classes. There will be holidays for students up to class 5 from 10 December 2024 to 28 February 2025. Whereas, for students of classes 6 to 12, these holidays will last from 16 December 2024 to 28 February 2025.
Rajasthan: Winter holiday has been announced in Rajasthan from 25 December 2024 to 5 January 2025, which will provide relief to the students in the cold season.
Bihar: Bihar government has also declared winter holiday from 25 December to 31 December 2024. This will give students a chance to relax amid the winter and enjoy the festivals. During winter break, students will be able to take a break from their studies and enjoy winter and festivals. In view of the increasing impact of cold, these holidays are very important for the safety and comfort of the students.
