But in view of the budget, the Bombay Stock Exchange i.e. BSE and National Stock Exchange i.e. NSE have announced that the stock markets will be open on the day of the budget. On this day too, there will be business like normal days. It is not that this is happening for the first time. Earlier, markets were opened on February 1, 2020 and 28 February 2015, when the Union Budget was presented.
There will be regular market hours
According to the news, exchanges say that a special trading session will be held on Saturday for the Union Budget 2025. Equity markets will be open from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm, while the commodity derivatives market will increase its business from 5:00 pm. According to the rule, pre-market trading occurs between 9:00 am to 9:08 am. Then there will be regular market hours. According to Financial Express, the T0 session is excluded due to the disposal holiday. Trade on Friday, January 31 will be dealt with next Monday, 3 February. The trading session will run as usual. It will see active participation in major segments such as equity, commodity derivatives and equity derivatives.
Mcx will also be open
Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) will also organize a live trading session on 1 February. Due to the presentation of the general budget, trading platforms will be available for market participants, which will support their real -time risk management and hedging needs. Multi Commodity Exchange of India will be open from 9 am to 5 pm for general business.
