Along with India, scientists from India and abroad were engaged in the discovery that keep the water of the Ganges river for many years, it is not spoiled, what can be the reason behind it. Scientists were also searching that even after taking a dip by crores of people on many religious occasions in the Ganges, no disease or epidemic spread from the Ganges river. Even during the last Kumbh, these scientists went there and collected a sample of it. Scientists of the National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), a large organization in Nagpur, have discovered this mystery.

How does Ganga remain pure?

In the discovery of scientists, it has been revealed that bacteriophages related to cleaning the Ganges on their own, which prevent its water from deteriorating. This information was given by Dr. Krishna Khairnar, a scientist of the National Environmental Engineering Institute (NEERI) during an exclusive conversation with India TV.

Science has divided it into three stages for its research:

1) Gaumukh to Haridwar

2) Haridwar to Patna
3) Patna to Gangasagar

Three elements of self -purifying

Dr. Krishna Khairnar has told that the team of scientists started their investigation by taking samples of Ganga water before the rain and once after the rain. The samples taken by scientists include Ganga water, soil of the Ganges coast, sand. Scientists have discovered the element, due to which the Ganges water is not dirty. Scientists have discovered that three elements of self -purification are hidden in the Ganges. Scientists had collected Ganga water samples for research even during the previous Kumbh.

Bacteriophages are found in Ganges water

Neeri scientist Krishna Khairnar said that bacteriophages are found in the Ganges water, which protect it from getting dirty. In such a situation, their protection is needed. The study of the reasons associated with the medicinal properties and flow route of the Ganges river, NEERI completed the three -weather study and three phases. In this, more than 50 sites of the Ganges river were tested. In this study, which lasted for almost 2 years, the special qualities of Ganga water went on to identify the source of religion. The scientific team has found bacteriophages that eliminate germs in the Ganges water, which is a kind of virus, which works against diseases caused by these panthogenic bacteria. NEERI scientists have also received a design in Ganges water. It lasts almost to the situation level. Apart from this, up to 20 ml of oxygen has been found in the Ganges water. Scientists have also discovered the Turpin salt phytochemical. These are the three elements that prove effective in making the Ganges clean.

Search for special qualities in the Ganges river

NEERI scientists amended the first round to amend from Gaumukh to Tehri Dam. After this amendment, the fact was discovered why Ganga is so sacred. In the discovery of scientists, it was found that bacteria called bacteriophages are found in the Ganges water, which do not let the Ganges water deteriorate. The area from the origin of the Ganges to the area of Rishikesh has been found in research. Bacteriophages are subtle, which cannot be seen with the eyes. Bacteria called bacteriophages eliminate bacteria that pollute water. Scientists researched the Ganga sample from Gomukh to Rishikesh as Bhagirathi, Alaknanda, Mandakini. Scientific research found that Ganga makes its water clean. The team of scientists has discovered special qualities found in the Ganges river from origin to the Hooghly River. Scientists also examined water samples from Tehri Dam. The team’s scientist Dr. Krishna Khairnar said that the team had taken samples up to 250 meters from the site of the dam for investigation.

Self purified element in the Ganges

In connection with the tests conducted by scientists during Kumbh, Dr. Krishna Khairnar said that self -purified elements are hidden in the Ganges. The government makes a lot of arrangements during the royal bath during Kumbh. Crores of people bathe in the Ganges. Even after taking crores of people, after some time, Ganga makes itself in this position. The strength in the Ganges is that Ganga can clean its dirt. Crores of people take bath together, yet the condition of the Ganges looks sacred and pure in the position of 5 kilometers of the people where people take bath. And where people bathe, in three-four days, Ganga makes itself clean in this way. NEERI scientists said that in 1896, a scientist named Hacking had also reported that the Ganges water executes antibacterial activities.
