Manali of Himachal Pradesh is one of the favorite places of Indians to celebrate winter holidays. Like every time, this time too people have reached Manali during winter holidays and are enjoying the snowfall. Many people go to Manali by car, but this can be fatal if there is snowfall. A video has surfaced from Manali, in which a pickup vehicle is seen slipping in the snow. By watching this video you will understand that going to Manali by car during snowfall can be fatal.

In the video, the pickup is seen parked on the road and the hilly road is sloping backwards. In such a situation, when the car starts slipping, the driver comes out and tries to pull it himself, but is not successful. When the pickup starts going backwards rapidly, the driver releases it and the pickup falls into a ditch. A tourist recorded the video of this incident.

1200 vehicles stuck

Hundreds of tourists got stranded due to snowfall in Himachal Pradesh on Friday night. The police and administration had to make a lot of efforts to take them to safe places. In the end the tourists were accommodated in hotels and people’s homes. On Friday, about 1200 vehicles remained stuck between Atal Tunnel and Solang Valley. There was a jam here till 11 pm. Vehicles are slipping on snow in Solang Valley of Manali. That’s why there is a jam.

150 tourists stranded

150 tourists got trapped in Maling drain, near the border with China occupied Tibet. These tourists had gone to visit Kaza of Lahaul Spiti, but due to heavy snowfall on the mountains on both sides, they got stuck on the border of Kinnaur and Lahail Spiti. Himachal Pradesh Police rescued all the tourists safely. They were accommodated in people’s homes and hotels in the villages of Yangthang, Nako and Chango.
