Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the program organized on the 25th anniversary of the Sufi music ceremony ‘Jahan-e-Khusro’. It was organized in Sundar Nursery in Delhi, the capital of the country, which starts from 28 February and will run till 2 March. Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav has taken a dig at Prime Minister Modi’s participation in this program. While sharing a clip of the program on his social media handle X, he wrote, “In this Anjuman, you have to come again and again, now remove the hatred from the heart.”
“Hindustan is the garden of paradise where …”
During his address in this program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “It is natural to be happy to come to Jahan-e-Khusro today. It is a different fragrance in organizing Jahan-e-Khusro. This fragrance is of Hindustan’s soil. That Hindustan which was compared by Hazrat Amir Khusro to Jannat. Our Hindustan is the garden of Jannat, where the garden of India is not only a green color. The spiritual distance is reduced, but rather reduced the worldly distances.
Happy Ramadan
On this occasion, the Prime Minister also congratulated the countrymen for Ramadan. He said that the civilization of any country, his tahzeeb receives the voice and music and his expression is from art. He said, “Sufi tradition in India created a distinct identity. Sufi saints have not limited themselves to mosques and khankahs. If they read the Herf of the Holy Quran, they also listen to the words of the Vedas, they added the sweetness of devotional songs to Ajan Ki Ajan.”
Jahan-e-Khusro ceremony mentioned
Referring to the Jahan-e-Khusaro function, PM Modi said that such opportunities are necessary for the art culture of the country, as well as they are relaxed. He said, “This series of Jahan-e-Khusro is completing its 25 years. It is a great success in the minds of the people in these 25 years.
