Filing income tax returns is as important as it is necessary to verify it. If you do not verify by filing returns, then the process of filing returns will not be considered complete. Actually, the Income Tax Department comes to know whether you have filed your return correctly through e-verification.
If you forget by filing the return, then it gets 30 days. If you do not e-verify the return in these 30 days, then the return will be considered invalid. In such a situation, you will not get even the money deducted in the refund or tax. Along with this, you may have to file a new income tax return and for this you may also have to pay late fine.

OTP will come on the mobile number connected to your Aadhaar, put it on the portal.
Net banking
Choose the “e-varify” option by logging in from your bank account.
EVC: Use Electronic Verification Code from bank account or damat account.
If you are not able to verify online, then you can send your signed copy to the Centralized Processing Center (CPC), Bangalore of Income Tax within 30 days. This method takes some time.

You can check the verification status of your return by going to the “View Returns/Forms” section on the Income Tax Department website.
