Boiled rice for pudding

The soft, starchy nature of boiled rice gives the pudding a creamy yet slightly chewy texture. It subtly enhances the overall taste, making it heartier and more satisfying than a typical chocolate mousse.

Step 1

Place the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat it in 30-second intervals, stirring after each round, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Do not overheat it, as it can seize.

Step 2

Add the cooked, cooled boiled rice to a blender along with ½ cup hot water. This step helps to soften the rice further and makes it easier to blend into a smooth consistency.
