New Delhi: In many states of the country including Delhi, a western disturbance is becoming active once again from today. Due to this, some states may receive rain. At the same time, rain is being seen with strong winds in many places in the northeastern states. On the other hand, the effect of heat is being seen in the areas of Maharashtra including Mumbai.
Rain alert here including Delhi
The Meteorological Department has issued rain alert in Delhi and its surrounding areas in the next 24 hours. Alert has been issued in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh from 28 February and in Himachal Pradesh in view of the possibility of heavy rains from 26 to 28th. The rainy season may continue here till 2 or 3 March. There is a possibility of heavy rains and snowfall at some places in the western Himalayan region between today and 1 March.
According to the Meteorological Department, Uttarakhand may receive heavy rains on 27th and 28th. Also, light to moderate rain may occur in Punjab, Haryana and parts of Chandigarh between 26 February and 1 March. There is also a possibility of hailstorm at some places in Punjab and Haryana on 27 February.
These districts of UP can rain
There is a possibility of rain in many areas of Uttar Pradesh. Thunderstorms are possible in Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar and Shamli adjacent to Delhi. There is also a possibility of rain in Saharanpur, Bijnor, Amroha, Hapur and Moradabad. Sitapur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur and Farrukhabad may rain. At the same time, rainy season may continue in Aligarh, Mathura and Sambhal districts.
Himachal will rain for the next three days
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain and snowfall for the next three days in Himachal Pradesh. According to this, the Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow alert for four districts of the state on 26 February and an orange alert on 27 February. On 26 February, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in Kangra, Mandi, Solan, Shimla, Sirmaur, Bilaspur and Hamirpur. There is a possibility of heavy rains at different places in Kullu, Chamba, Kangra and Mandi, due to which IMD has issued a Yellow alert. For February 27, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rains at different places in Chamba, Kangra, Kullu and Mandi districts.
