My first priority was diplomacy- Narvanane
In fact, former Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane was addressing an event in Pune on Sunday. During this, he said that if the order was received, he would have been ready for the war, but his first priority would always be diplomacy. The former army chief further said that when cannon shells fall, people living near the border and especially children have to run to take shelter. It leaves deep pain on his mind.
War is not a romantic thing- Narvanane
General Narwane further said that “War is not a romantic thing. It is not your Bollywood film. It is a serious subject. War or violence should be the last option. Our Prime Minister has also said that it is not a war era. Even though the people who are unlikely to impose war on us, we should not welcome it. Then why are we not yet given the war as a soldier, but if I have given my first choice, I will not go to war. Will not happen. “
Violence is not a solution to the problem- Narwane
General Narwane said that his first choice diplomacy will be. The dispute will have to be resolved through dialogue and not allowing armed struggle. Narwane further said that “We are all as part of national security. We should also try to resolve the dispute between not only two countries but also between ourselves, our families, states, regions and communities.” Narwane said that violence is not a solution to any problem.
