Vodafone idea 5g: Vodafone Idea (VI) has announced to launch its high-speed 5G services in Delhi-NCR. The telecom company said on 14 May that it is starting its high-speed 5G services in Delhi-NCR from May 15, which is a major milestone in its nationwide 5G rollout. Let us know that this facility has already been launched in Mumbai, Chandigarh and Patna. VI’s 5G footprint will increase with its rollout in NCR. The company is ready to rollout 5G in all 17 priority circles by August this year, where it has achieved 5G spectrum.
The company said, ‘VI for Delhi-NCR has partnered with Ericsson for the creation of the next generation 5G infrastructure, which provides energy efficiency and hardware. VI has also deployed AI-operated Self-Organizing Network (SON) technology to further improve network capacity. The 5G non-standalone (NSA) is used architecture, which ensures spontaneous transition between 4G and 5G for users ‘spontaneous experience.’
5G plan will start from start from Rs 299
VI’s 5G plan will start from Rs 299. As an initial offer, unlimited data will be given to users under this plan. The telecom company said that subscribers can now use VI 5G for activities like streaming, gaming, video conferencing, fast download and real-time cloud access.
5G service will soon start in Bengaluru and Mysore
The telecom company said that 5G rollouts in 17 circles are a part of the capital expenditure of Rs 55,000 crore employed in its three years. Cities like Bengaluru and Mysore are in our next target. About 70% of users in Mumbai are already using VI’s 5G services and about 20% of its data traffic is already being run on 5G network.
