Vedanta Q3 Results: 77% increase in profit, company achieved records Ebitda – Vedanta Q3 Results Net Profit Jumps 77 Percent to Rs 3547 Crore

Vedanta Limited’s net profit increased by 77 % to Rs 3,547 crore in the December 2024 quarter. The company’s profit was Rs 2,013 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue increased by 10 % to Rs 38,526 crore in the third quarter of the current financial year, while the figure was Rs 34,968 crore in the third quarter of FY 2024. During the relevant period, the company’s consolidated Ebitda increased 30 % to Rs 11,284 crore. According to Vedanta, his net date was Rs 57,358 crore in the December 2024 quarter.

Arun Mishra, executive director of Vedanta Limited, said, ‘We have achieved a record Ebitda of Rs 11,284 crore in the December 2024 quarter. Our strategic focus helped us to achieve better performance due to reduced costs and increasing production in all business segments. We achieved an increase of 58 % annually in EBITDA of our aluminum business, while Zinc India’s Bijasne increased by 28 %. We expect better performance to continue in the upcoming quarters.

Vedanta’s CFO Ajay Goyal said, “This quarter saw a great performance and a record Ebitda of Rs 11,284 crore. Also, Ebitda Margin was also much better i.e. 34 %. Our Profit Offer Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 4,876 crore with 70 % growth on an annual basis. The main reason for our success was the softening of cost control, volume growth and commodity prices.

Recently the company’s credit rating has also been upgraded. Also, the disorganized process is also moving in the right direction. Vedanta scored a record aluminum production of 613 kg in the third quarter of FY 2025. Vedanta’s share closed at Rs 441.40 on 31 January at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) with a gain of 2.07 %.
