A total of 6 people died in 2 painful accidents in Uttarakhand.

Dehradun/New Tehri: On Monday, 6 people lost their lives in 2 different accidents in Uttarakhand. The first incident occurred at Tiger Falls in Chakrata in Dehradun district, where 2 people who were bathing in the waterfall died due to falling a tree from the mountain. The dead include a tourist from Delhi and a local person. The second incident occurred in Tehri district, where 4 elders died after a car fell into a ditch. The elderly killed in the accident were between 60 and 70 years old and were returning to Chandigarh after attending a religious program.

Accident due to falling trees in Tiger Falls of Chakrata

According to the police, a major accident occurred on Monday evening in Chakrata’s famous tourist spot tiger falls. 55 -year -old Alka Anand and Chakrata’s 38 -year -old Geetaram Joshi, who hails from Delhi, suddenly fell from the mountain when a 38 -year -old Geetaram Joshi was bathing in the waterfall. Both died on the spot due to being pressed under the tree. In this incident, some other people are also reported to be hurt who were bathing in the waterfall at the time of the accident. People present on the spot pulled both of them from under the tree and sent CHC Chakrata, where both were declared dead.

Car falls in a car in Tehri, 4 elderly people died

On the other hand, a car uncontrolled on Kirtinagar-Badiargarh Road in Tehri district and fell into a 40-meter deep ditch. Four elders in the car were from Chandigarh, who came to their village Malgarhi. He was returning after attending a religious program. Darshan Singh Aswal (70), Dharam Singh Aswal (70), Karan Singh Panwar (65) and Rajendra Singh Panwar (60) were killed in the accident. Tehsildar Pradeep Kandari of Tehri said that after the accident, Tehsil Administration and State Disaster Response Force teams reached the spot. The injured were taken out of the car and taken to Srikot Base Hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
