Delhi International Airport Limited i.e. DIAL wants to increase the user development fees from passenger for the next 5 years. Dial wants to charge more fees from passengers running in peak hours and business classes. But the airlines do not like this proposal. The Airlines and their association have opposed the proposal from the airport tariff regulator Aera. Giving more information on this, CNBC-Awaaz correspondent Rohan Singh said that the proposed tariff hike is being opposed at Delhi’s Delhi Airport.

Dial, which operates Delhi Airport, has demanded separate UDFs from domestic passengers for off peak hours and peak hours. Proposed tariff between Rs 315 -610 per passenger

Currently, the airport is charged with a charge of Rs 145 per passenger. About Rs 145 per passenger is charged with UDF, Landing and Parking. The proposed tariff is between Rs 315 -610 per passenger. Arara will take a final decision on tariff by March 2025.
