The US and Iran will talk about the nuclear deal in Rome, Italy’s capital today. The conversation will include American Special Envoy Steve Witchoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi. This is the second phase of interaction on the deal between the two.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Arakachi spoke to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov on Thursday. During this, Arakachi said that America’s intentions are not trusted but will still talk.
The first conversation was held between the US and Iran on 12 April in Oman of the two countries. It was arbitrary by Oman’s Foreign Minister Badar al-Busaidi. It was the first official conversation to take place on the nuclear deal after a decade in the two countries.
In this, Arakachi and Vitchoff spoke on Iran’s nuclear program and issues related to the removal of restrictions on Iran.
Trump has warned Iran to leave a nuclear program
President Donald Trump has threatened Iran to bear the brunt of not leaving the nuclear program. According to the White House Press Secretary Caroline Livit, Trump’s priority is that Iran can never get nuclear weapons.
Lavit said during a press briefing last week that President Trump had already made it clear that all options are open in this case. Iran has two options- either the demands of Trump, or will be ready to suffer serious consequences. This is Trump’s firm feeling on this issue.
Trump’s Press Secretary Caroline Lewit said on Saturday that Iran would have to accept Trump’s words or will have to bear the consequences.
Trump gave 60 days’ time to Iran
According to a report by Politico, Trump has given Iran 60 days to agree on a new nuclear deal, otherwise warning of military action. This warning was sent to Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei through a letter.
It was clearly stated in this letter that Tehran would have to be ready for talks with Washington, even if this conversation is directly. Otherwise, such results will have to be suffered which can endanger the stability of the Iranian government.
Trump has threatened to bomb Iran
Earlier on March 30, Trump had threatened Iran that America could bomb it if he did not reach an agreement on his nuclear program. Trump also threatened to impose secondary tariffs on Iran.
Trump said in an interview to NBC News,
If they do not make any deal then there will be bombing. It will be such a bomb as he would never have seen before.
Trump further said- Iran has a chance, if they do not do so, then I will put a secondary tariff on them as 4 years ago. American and Iranian officials are interacting on the nuclear program. However, he did not explain this in detail.
Iran has enough uranium to make 6 atomic bombs
Iran’s ability to manufacture bombs has increased after Trump’s cancellation of nuclear agreement with Iran in 2018. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran has made 275 kg of uranium of 60%purity. This is enough to make six atomic bombs.
If there is no agreement between the US-Iran, by the end of this year, the US or Israel or both can decide to bomb Iran’s nuclear bases. American, Israeli and Arab sources say Trump will continue the process of dialogue for a few months.
Trump warned Netanyahu not to mess up
An Israeli source told The Economist that Trump has warned Netanyahu not to make any disturbances during a conversation on the US-Iran Nuclear Deal. Israel destroyed its air defense network in response to the Iranian missile attack in October.
An Israeli military officer said that Iran is very weak at this time. The first Netanyahu was hesitant to order Iran’s atomic bases. Now there is no reason to retreat to him except Trump.
The Israeli Prime Minister has publicly gained popularity in the country by going against the will of other American presidents. But it is very difficult to go against Trump’s wish.

2015 – Nuclear Agreement: The relations between the two countries began slightly improved while Obama’s US President. There was an atomic agreement with Iran, in which Iran talked about limiting the nuclear program. Instead, the economic sanctions imposed on it were slightly relaxed, but Trump canceled the agreement after becoming President. The enmity started again.
