- The US government has banned the new visa interview for foreign students two weeks ago. External Affairs Minister Marco Rubio issued an order regarding this. The objective of the order is to prevent Jewish opposition and leftist ideas in the universities of the country.
- Rubio issued an order to American embassies around the world and said that they should not schedule new interviews for student visas, as the Trump government is going to tighten the investigation of the social media profiles of students coming to America.

If the class is left, the visa of foreign students will be canceled
The Trump administration says that if a foreign student leaves the course, class does not go or leaves studies, then his student visa can be canceled. The US embassy in India issued a statement some time ago and informed about this. The embassy always asked to follow its visa conditions to avoid any problem.
On the other hand, the Trump government has canceled the contract worth Rs 850 crore (about $ 100 million) with Harvard University. The decision was taken on 28 May 2025. The government has already stopped the help of more than 22 thousand crore rupees for this Ivy League school.
