The US Army on Saturday launched an aircraft on the Islamic State (ISIS) militants in Somalia. The airplane was done in the Golis Mountains area following the order of President Donald Trump. According to US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, many ISIS terrorists have died in this aircraft.
Donald Trump said in the X post that he had ordered these airstriax after receiving information about the hiding of ISIS terrorists in the caves. He also criticized former President Joe Biden, saying that he did not take rapid action against ISIS terrorists.

The US Africa command issued a press conference stating that on 1 February 2025, in collaboration with the Somalia government, carried out airstrikes against ISIS-Somalia.
The US Africa command said that many ISIS-Somalia terrorists were killed and no civilian casualties in these airstrikes.
The US Africa command also said that not much information related to the operation has been shared to maintain the security of the operation.
Trump said- We will kill those who want to attack America
Trump wrote in the X post- ‘This morning I ordered the US Army to carry out an accurate airstrike, killing ISIS’s senior attack planner and his fellow terrorists. These killers, who were hidden in caves, were threatened to the US and our comrades. The caves were destroyed in these aerustrix and many terrorists were killed, but no common citizen was harmed.
He further said, ‘Our army had been targeting the senior attack planner of this ISIS for many years, but Biden and his companions could not work fast to end it. I did! ISIS and the message for all those who want to attack Americans – we will find you and kill you. ‘
US Defense Minister said- ISIS ‘capacity reduced from these aircrafts
US Defense Minister Hegseth said that these Aerustreers have reduced ISIS’s ability to carry out terrorist attacks against the US, its associates and innocent civilians. These aerustraers clearly indicate that the US is always ready to find terrorists and end, even if they are hidden anywhere.
According to the newspaper The Hill, Trump has already warned terrorist organizations such as ISIS. However, he also said that America should stay away from Syria after the power of Bashar al-Assad fell in Syria. Trump told reporters on Thursday, ‘We are not involved in Syria. Syria see its problem itself. There are already many difficulties. We do not need to solve them every difficulty.
