US finance company ‘Fanny Main’ fired 700 employees. In this, 200 employees have been fired on moral grounds, most of which are Telugu. They are alleged to have been involved in the disturbances related to the charitable matching grants program.

According to reports, some employees misused the company’s funds. Many of these employees are associated with the Telugu Association of North America (TANA).

Three US -origin US -based US lawmakers Subramaniam, Raja Krishnamurthy and Mr. Thanedar have written a letter and sought an answer from the company. He wrote- We are recently asking for information about the dismissal of ‘Fanny Main’. This has affected the Indian-American community. The service of dozens of Telugu employees has been abolished without completely investigating.

Why did the American company remove Telugu employees? According to media reports, many employees are accused of cheating companies and misusing funds in association with Telugu Association of North America (TANA). Apart from Tana, other organizations are under investigation.

It is alleged that some employees allegedly set fake records with some charitable organizations and transferred the matching fund back to them. The FBI and Justice Department are investigating the matter.

Some people working with Fanny Main told the media that the retrenchment was done on 9 and 10 April.

Company President said- We keep employees on high standard The company’s President and Chief Executive Officer Prisla Almodover said- I would like to thank Direct William Pulte to root out the immoral conduct in ‘Fanny Main’. We keep our employees on high standard, and we will continue to do so.

Sorting in Fanny Main is similar to the retrenchment done in Apple in January. Apple fired about 50 employees from their headquarters in Cupertino, including some Indians. He was accused that he had committed financial fraud to increase his salary.
