Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force and Punjab Police have arrested an active terrorist of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), who had alleged relations with ISI of Pakistan in a joint operation. The terrorist has been arrested from Kaushambi district. Additional Director General of Police (UP Special Task Force, Law and Order) Amitabh Yash said that suspected terrorist Lazar Christ, who lives in Kurlian village of Ramdas area of Amritsar, Punjab, has been arrested from Kokhraj police station area of Kaushambi at around 3.20 am. He said, “According to the information available, the arrest works for the terrorist Swarn Singh aka Jeevan Fauji, who is the head of Babbar Khalsa International’s Module in Germany and is in direct contact with the ISI -based ISI operatives.”
Foreign weapons recovered from terrorist
Amitabh Yash said that UP STF has recovered explosive material and illegal weapons from the terrorist. The official said the seized material included three live grenades, two live detonators, a foreign pistol and 13 foreign cartridges. Apart from this, a white colored explosive powder, Ghaziabad’s address Aadhaar card and without SIM card have also been seized from him. The ADG said that the terrorist escaped from judicial custody in Punjab on 24 September 2024. The Punjab Police said on Thursday that it has stopped the killings of the potentially people with the arrest of a member of a terrorist module.

Punjab Police said that this terrorist module has the support of the banned Khalistani organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said that the module is operating the US -based desired terrorist Harpreet Singh alias Happy Passes which is a close assistant to the declared terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda. Happy is operating the module in association with its partner Resham Singh in Italy. The accused has been identified as Vikramjat Singh, a resident of Bangar of Ghaniya in Batala. Police have recovered two magazines, nine cartridges and a cartridge kiosks with a .32 bore pistol from him.
