Ukraine has claimed to destroy 40 Russian fighter aircraft. According to a report by Ukrainian website Kiev Independent, two Russian airbase Olenya and Belya were targeted on Sunday from Ukraine’s drone. Strettic bombers like A-50, TU-95 and TU-22 were destroyed.

According to the report, Ukraine’s Security Agency (SBU) carried out the attack, using FPV (first-Persen-View) drones. An SBU official said that he has carried out the attack in his own defense, as these Russian aircraft often target Ukrainian cities.

According to initial estimates, the cost of damage can be US $ 2 billion (more than 17 thousand crore rupees). Russia’s Balaya airbase is about 4 thousand km from the Ukrainian border and Olenya Airbase is about 1800 km away.
