The Super Six round in the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025 is being played in a very spectacular manner and now this tournament has reached its last stage. There are two groups in Super Six and each group includes 6 teams. Two teams from each group will make it to the semi-finals. So far, India, Australia have made it to the semi-finals from Group-1 and South Africa has made it to the semi-finals from Group-2. There is still one place vacant. One more team from Group-2 will make it to the semi-finals.

Two groups in Super Six in Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025:

  • Group-1: India, Australia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Scotland, West Indies

  • Group-2: South Africa, England, Nigeria, America, New Zealand, Ireland

England and Nigeria have a chance to reach the semi-finals

The match between Sri Lanka and Scotland was canceled due to rain, due to which both the teams got one point each. Right now England and Nigeria have a chance to reach the semi-finals, because both these teams have one match each left in Group-2. The England team has to play a match against New Zealand on 27 January. If the England team wins this match, it will easily reach the semi-finals. If he loses, he will face problems.

The road is difficult for Nigeria

On the other hand, Nigeria team has to play against Ireland on 29th January. To reach the semi-finals, Nigeria will first have to pray that the England team loses its match against the New Zealand team and they get a resounding win against Ireland. In this way the door can open for him to reach the semi-finals.

England team is at second place in Group-2

At present, England team is at second position in Group-2 and has four points and its net run rate is plus 2.422. Whereas Nigeria’s team is at third place with three points and its net run rate is minus 1.857. South Africa has already entered the semi-finals from this group. Only two teams from each group will reach the semi-finals.
