US President Donald Trump signed the Big Beautiful Bill pass on July 4. With this, this bill has now become a law.
The bill was passed by the lower house of the US Parliament (House of Representatives) of the US Parliament yesterday. 218 people voted in support of the bill, while 214 people cast their votes.
Trump’s own party’s two MPs, Thomas Masi and Brian Fitzpatrick, voted against the bill. Trump and Ilon Musk had sharp statements against each other about this bill.
The bill was passed by a slight margin of 50-51 in the upper house of the US Parliament 3 days ago. Vice-President JD Vance cast a decisive vote for this bill.
Ilon Musk criticized Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill on Saturday. Musk wrote on X on Saturday- ‘This bill of Trump will end millions of jobs in America and will cause a big strategic loss to our country.’
