US President Donald Trump has said that instead of starting a peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, they should be allowed to fight a little. In a meeting held at the Oval Office, Trump said that he is apprehensive about the success of peace talks. Trump described Ukraine and Russia like two young children fighting in the park in a phone conversation with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
Putin’s response is not clear, but it is believed that he will welcome the US’s stance, as he has earlier demanded the US to stay away from this struggle and stop military aid to Ukraine. German Chancellor Frederick Merge appealed to Trump to put further pressure on Russia.
Merge reminded Trump that violence in Ukraine is the result of Russia’s invasion. He said that German people are grateful to America for defeating Nazi Germany in World War II. Merge told Trump, “America is once again in a strong position to end the Ukraine War. We should talk about increasing pressure on Russia.”
Meanwhile, Russia has threatened to respond to a Ukraine’s adventure drone attack. Ukraine’s Security Service SBU had attacked a drone attack at four airports in Russia last weekend, damaging 20 Russian war planes. Russia has said that it will answer it on his way and time.
