US President Donald Trump has discharged more than a dozen officers from the US Department of Justice. According to the CNN report, these officers were involved in the investigation of allegations of trying to reverse the election results against Trump in 2020.
These officials along with former Special Council Jack Smith took action against Trump. A spokesman for the Department of Justice issued a statement on Monday and informed about this.
The statement said that Acting Attorney General James McHeenry had evacuated the authorities for involvement in the investigation against Trump.

McHeenry did not trust the authorities to implement the President’s agenda.

Former Special Council Jack Smith started 2 investigations against Trump. In both these cases, impeachment against Trump was brought. The first case was related to an attempt to illegally overturn the presidential elections in 2020.
