US President Donald Trump has issued an order to ban people from 12 countries on coming to America.
These countries include Afghanistan, Myanmar Burma, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. According to the White House, this step has been taken for national security and safety of the public.
Along with this, Trump has also imposed partial ban on the civilians of seven countries Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Tago, Turkmenistan and Venezuela coming to America. This will apply to both immigration and non-immigration visas.
Trump said that
America is required to protect us from foreign nationals who try to misuse terrorist attacks, damage national security, spread hatred or take advantage of immigration laws.
Trump also cited a ban on foreign nationals coming to America in his first term.
Trump said- Take precautions while issuing visa
Trump has asked citizens of other countries to take precautions while issuing visas. He said that while issuing the visa, it should be kept in mind that such people should not come to America who can harm the interests of Americans or the country.
Trump said that,
People coming on immigration visas become permanent residents, so their investigation is more important and difficult. It is difficult to remove these people even when security is threatened. On the other hand, the investigation of those coming on non-immigration visas is less. Therefore, it is necessary to stop people coming from countries where the arrangements related to identity and information are not good.
Trump has instructed American citizens and people who come from other countries not to hate America nor support any terrorist organization.
Trump said- ban required to stop terrorism
Trump has described these restrictions as necessary to prevent terrorism. He said that these restrictions are also necessary so that there can be cooperation from foreign governments, immigration laws can be implemented and national security, foreign policy and anti -terrorism functions can be carried forward.
The order stated about Afghanistan that there is a Taliban control, which is a terrorist group and there is no capable or associate government to issue passports or civil documents. Also, there are no proper investigation methods.
The reason for the ban on Myanmar is said to stay in America for a long time without permission.
According to the report, 27.07% of Myanmar’s B1/B2 visa holders and 4 of F, M, J visa holders have been found to live in the US for longer. In addition, Myanmar has not supported withdrawing the US citizens.
