TRAI gave new instructions to telecom operators.
Recently, a big instruction was given to the telecom operators by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. In its instructions, TRAI had asked all telecom operators to launch cheap voice only plans for customers. Now TRAI has shared new information for Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL.
TRAI has issued a new clarification regarding voice only plans. It said that recently it has seen some telecom operators offering voice only plans. According to TRAI, plans being launched by telecom companies will be required to inform the regulator within seven days from the date of launch.
According to the new guidelines of TRAI, before offering voice only plans to the customers, these plans will be evaluated by the regulator and will be offered to these customers only after they are found completely correct. Let us tell you that some operators had earlier introduced voice-only packs, but they withdrew them after some time because these vouchers did not go through the evaluation process of TRAI.
Instructions given to provide relief to customers
Let us tell you that almost all telecom companies offer voice calling as well as data in their plans to their customers. In such a situation, only those users who do not need internet data have to buy data pack and for this they have to spend more money even though they do not need it. In such a situation, to provide relief from expensive recharge plans, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has given instructions to telecom operators to offer cheap voice calling plans.
