Telecom Subscribers Report has been released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. TRAI report has revealed the number of customers connecting to Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL in the month of November. According to the report, Jio was the only company whose user base increased in the month of November. Whereas November was quite loss-making for Airtel, Vi and BSNL. Let us tell you that except BSNL, in the month of July last year, all the telecom companies had drastically increased the prices of their recharge plans. Angered by this decision of private companies, lakhs of users shifted towards BSNL. Jio suffered huge loss of customers from July to October. But now this story has completely changed once again. Jio has once again been completely successful in bringing its customers.
After 4 months, Jio’s strength again
The month of November was very beneficial for Reliance Jio. This month, about 1.21 million new users joined Jio. After this, the total number of Jio customers has crossed 461 million. If we talk about the country’s second largest telecom company Airtel, then this company suffered a huge loss of 1.13 million users this month. At the same time, the total number of Airtel customers has crossed 383 million.
The biggest loss of subscribers in the month of November was suffered by the third largest company Vodafone Idea. According to TRAI report, Vi lost a total of 1.5 million users in the month of November. After this decline in customers, the company is now left with a total of 208 million users.
BSNL got a shock
Talking about the performance of the government company which is continuously attracting customers, the shine of BSNL was quite dull this month. November was the first month after July 2025 in which BSNL lost customers. BSNL lost about 340,000 customers in the month of November. According to the latest report, at present about 92 million people across the country are taking advantage of the services of government companies.
Let us tell you that according to the previous report of TRAI, Airtel had added about 192,000 new customers in the month of October. In October, more than 5 lakh new users were associated with BSNL. Whereas Jio had lost about 3.76 million customers this month. Vodafone Idea had suffered huge loss of customers in the month of October. This month, about 19.7 million users left the company.
