These Lok Adalats had started from December 20 and are to be held on all working days till December 31. The challans pending in these Lok Adalats after 2021 will be settled.

Where will the special evening courts be held?

These courts will be set up in seven major court complexes of Delhi.

Patiala House Court

Rohini Court

Rouse Avenue Court

Saket Court

Tis Hazari Court

The timing of these courts will be from 5 pm to 7 pm and they will be held only on working days.

Which challans will be settled?

These courts will deal only with challans related to violations of general traffic rules, such as:

not wearing seat belt

not wearing a helmet

jumping red light

parking in the wrong place

Absence of Pollution Certificate (PUC)

However, if your challan is related to any criminal activity or accident, it will not be heard here.

How to take a copy of the challan?

It is important to obtain a copy of the challan before going to court. For this, go to Delhi Traffic Police website https://traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/evecourtddc.

Enter the vehicle number and captcha code.

Click on ‘Search’.

View pending challan information and print it.

Delhi challan cases will be settled

Irrespective of which state the challan belongs to the vehicle, if the challan has been issued by Delhi Police, it will be settled here. But there will be no hearing in these courts for challans issued by the police of other states. For example, challans issued by Noida, Ghaziabad or Gurugram police are not valid here.
