At the same time, the retreat ceremony will start again at all three joint posts of Punjab Frontier, but today it will be only for media persons. It will not be held today for the general public.

When will the general public be able to see the ceremony?

Giving information, the BSF said that the retreat ceremony for the general public will start again from May 21. The retreat ceremony will be held at Attari-Wagha, Hussainiwala (Ferozepur) and Sadki Border (Fazilka). But now after the new decision, neither the gates will be opened on the border nor will the commander of Pakistan join hands. Please inform that this ceremony will be held at 6 pm. Let us know that the Beating Retreat Ceremony has been a custom between the two countries since 1959, which was closed by India on 7 May after the Pahalgam terror attack.
