In Rohini, Delhi, a 17 -year -old boy left his house to avoid taking the exam and covered a distance of more than 2,000 kilometers and started working as a laborer at a construction site and stayed in the slum. An official gave this information on Monday. According to the police, the boy’s family lodged a complaint of his disappearance on 21 February at Buddha Vihar police station. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Vikram Singh said, “The boy used to study in the 11th grade of a prestigious school in Connaught Place and was not interested in reading at all.”
Did not want to give annual exam
The investigation has revealed that he did not want to take his annual examination. On 21 February, he left the house and sent a message to his father that he was leaving the house and no one should seek him. The official said that the boy moved from Delhi to Bengaluru and started working as a laborer at a construction site there. The official said that after receiving information about the case, several teams were formed to search for the boy. He said that many sources were activated to know the aspect of kidnapping in this case.
The boy was living in a slum
He said that a case of missing was later registered and the boy was arrested from the Krishnagiri area of Tamil Nadu (near the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border). The official said that the minor had approached an acquaintance in Bengaluru and reached there by train. The DCP said that he started working as a laborer at a construction site near Tamil Nadu and Karnataka border. When the team discovered it, he was living in a slum near the construction site. ”(With language inputs)
