Ireland International Fixtures for Summer 2025: A big announcement has been made by Cricket Ireland. Cricket Ireland released its international schedule on March 11, including the 50 -over World Cup qualifying match against Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, Thailand and Scotland between April 9 to 18, in addition to the England Mains T20I team and the historic tour of the Zimbabwe women’s team.
Ireland has canceled the plan to host the multi-format series against Afghanistan this year. The reason behind this has been explained the lack of funds. According to the Mains Future Tour Program (FTP), Ireland had to play one Test and three ODIs and three T20I matches with Afghanistan. However, now all seven matches have been canceled by Ireland. Ireland has hosted only two of the 10 Tests played since I became a full member of ICC in 2017. He won his first win in the Test against Afghanistan in UAE in 2024 and then won two more Tests against Zimbabwe.
This year the Ireland Mains team will host the West Indies in the ODI and T20I series respectively in May and June, while England’s Mains team will play their first T20I series in Ireland in September. Three matches will be played in this series. The Ireland team will also play in the European T20 Premier League with Scotland and Netherlands between July 15 and August 8.
